Mitra Genie Maeng Da Red Vein is the most heavy strain I’ve tried. Heavy in a good sense.
I’m a recovering opiate addict. This is the closest strain to the opiate high in my experience, and it’s even healthy, when treated with respect.
It gives me a very deep calm.
I only dose high on this one (8-10 grams) and use it for my most introvert evenings, doing nothing.
My eyelids get heavy, and my voice gets a hint of “porridge”, as we say in Norway.
I don’t want to bother with conversation when I’m on the Maeng Da. I simply want to float, to breathe.
It’s perfect for meditation.
Even listening to music is too much for the Maeng Da-“travel”, in my preference.
The heaviness I mentioned of this Kratom strain also includes physical aspects.
If you’re sensitive to the Kratom taste, this is a strain you may well mix with chocolate milk.
Also, this strain feels more heavy in regards to the nausea effect: beware of your intake of food and drinks before, during and after.
And remember to slowly up your dose.
This strain demands respect.
Respect your need for days off, and your need for days with other strains, because this is a strain that you do not want to carelessly take in unnecesarry high doses. If so, your head and your bowel movements will become heavy, in the bad sense.
